Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965), is an American actor from America. She is best known for portraying the role of the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson (TVN crime drama The Closer). Sedgwick was honored with the Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The seventh season of the series was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her role in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was nominated to an Golden Globe award in 1995 for her role on Something to Talk About. Sedgwick's film credits include Oliver Stone's Born on the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's singles (1992), Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996), What's cooking (2000), Secondhand Lions (2003), The Game Plan (2007), and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald, an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII Speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick is a self-described Jewish and has said that she participates in Passover seders.
