Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24, 1981) is an American political commentator. She was previously a presidential candidate for the US Senate as well as a TV presenter on MSNBC. She was frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagar Enti. Enjeti and Ball have announced that they will quit the show in May 2021 to begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture that will be hosted by Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts Krystal Kyle & Friends' podcast alongside Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on guest appearances in shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball is able to attribute her new interest in politics due to the fact that she became pregnant during the 2008 primaries and also watching the outcome of the 2008 US presidential election while working in Jordan. She saw how it affected the citizens of Jordan and thereby gained an appreciation of the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellowship member of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st district for the election of 2010, but lost to Republican incumbent Rob Wittman. She hosted The Cycle on MSNBC from June 2012 to July 15, 2015. She founded the People's House Project in May 2017 to promote Democratic causes.
