Jennifer Rene Psaki

 Psaki, the oldest of three children, was born in Stamford in Connecticut to Eileen (nee Dolan), Medvey[8 and Dimitrios (Greek) R. Psaki. Dimitrios, a retired real-estate developer was the father of Eileen, who had emigrated from Greece in 1904. His grandmother was of Irish descent. She got married to her parents in 1976. Psaki is also from Polish origin. She attended Greenwich High School 1996. She graduated from College of William & Mary in 2000, obtaining the degree of English and sociology. She is a part of the Chi Omega sorority. At William & Mary, Psaki was a competitive backstroke swimmer for the William & Mary Tribe athletic team for two years. Psaki started her career in 2001, as an election candidate for the U.S. Senate of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin and Tom Vilsack. Psaki was then appointed deputy press secretary to John Kerry's presidential campaign for 2004. From 2005 until 2006, Psaki served as communications director for U.S. representative Joseph Crowley as well as the regional press secretary of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. MSNBC has announced that Psaki will be a political analyst throughout 2022 United States elections and during the 2024 presidential election. In 2023, Psaki will also host a show that MSNBC will stream on its Peacock streaming platform.
